SUMMARY:Medical Debt Relief Campaign (Christ for Kentucky)
DESCRIPTION:We at Sojourn East have been given a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact in our community by helping cancel medical debt for thousands of our neighbors in Jefferson County. Through a partnership with Christ for Kentucky\, every $1 given can relieve over $100 of medical debt—meaning together we could help eliminate millions in burdens for families who are carrying significant financial strain. Those impacted will receive notice that their debt has been fully forgiven\, no strings attached\, as a simple expression of care from our church. This is a meaningful\, one-time opportunity to love our neighbors in a practical way and create space for hope where it’s often hard to find.  \nOur goal is to raise $175\,000 to cancel all $24 million of medical debt in Jefferson County. DESCRIPTION:We are excited to celebrate our 5th graders as they reach this special milestone! During each service on June 28th\, our graduating 5th grade students will be recognized on stage and prayed over as a congregation. This is a meaningful moment to honor their growth and celebrate all God has done in their lives during their elementary years.  \nFollowing each service\, families are invited to the Multipurpose Room for a celebratory reception. We’ll have treats\, small gifts for each student\, and a fun photo booth where graduates can take pictures with their friends\, S45 teachers\, and families. This celebration marks an important transition as our 5th graders are sent off to S2 and begin joining the congregation in the main worship service on Sunday mornings. We are so proud of them and can’t wait to see how God continues to work in their lives! \nPlease register to let us know which service your 5th grader will be attending.
